A very short freebie set in the same universe as Escape. One of the scientists who maintains the Scavenger program finds out rather abruptly that her mental reprograming is not as complete as he had thought, and that she has her own agenda... one that involves creating more of her kind. TG/TF. Diary-style entries cataloguing the change over a series of days.

This story takes place after Life in the Zone, but is independent from Escape, so you can read and understand it without buying anything (although the appendix info in Escape is helpful for context).
